Back to work, back to reality

It's amazing how time flies when you're having fun.. It's a cliché but oh so true.

My 6 month maternity leave has come to an end. Spending 12 hour days bonding with my little marshmallow will now be reduced to rushed morning feeds, and afternoon catch ups.

Not having this little human being within earshot from me, is definitely going to be an adjustment for me.

I have been there for every developmental milestone so far... From the 6 week head lifting to the first biscuit being munched, and now just when his little personality is shining through, I fear i may miss even more.
You would think, having already gone through this separation anxiety with the twins, I would be a pro at it by now...not!

Working moms.. We do what we have to, and somehow we make it work.

On a lighter note,
The twins have settled nicely to the idea of sharing us with another little person  We do get the odd comment about how we don't get to do this or that anymore because there's a baby in the house, but we try our best to distract from that and more into something more constructive.

They are becoming more mature and more curious with every day that passes. Their vastly different personalities are also a wonder. Sadey with his mature, big brother, responsible nature and Sam with his mischievous, charming and laugh a minute antics.
Blessed are we to have these little humans in our lives
